Michel Platini is re-elected as UEFA president for a third term.

Michel Platini has been re-elected as UEFA president for a third term.

The 59-year-old Frenchman, who stood unopposed, will be in the role until at least 2019.

The former Juventus and France forward won his first term back in 2007, taking over from Lennart Johansson.

Platini's election victory was announced at UEFA's annual congress in Vienna.
