Frome Town boss Nick Bunyard banned from football until July 2019

Frome Town manager Nick Bunyard has been banned from football until July 2019 by the Football Association for breaching betting rules.

It was found by an independent regulatory commission that Bunyard placed 97 bets between September 13, 2014 and April 9, 2016.

Forty-seven of the bets that he made were against Frome and his former club Paulton Rovers while he was manager.

As well as being banned from attending any match involving Frome for the next eight months, Bunyard has been fined £3,000.
