Neymar: "I do not regret staying at Santos"

Brazilian striker Neymar has insisted that he has no regrets about his decision to stay with Santos.

The 19-year-old had been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea in recent months, but moved to end that speculation by signing a new contract with his current employers.

"I made the right decision," Neymar told Lancenet. "I do not regret staying at Santos at all.

"If it was not for Santos, I would not have the profile I now have inside and outside the country.

"Everything fell into place and I am having a good time, and the team too."

Neymar has been capped 15 times by his country, scoring eight goals in the process.
