Former Argentina international Diego Maradona has been released from hospital following a successful procedure to remove kidney stones.
The current Al Wasl manager was admitted to hospital yesterday afternoon, complaining of abdominal pains.
"Maradona has been cleared after undergoing a successful operation to remove his kidney stones and will be discharged from hospital," read a message on Al Wasl's official Twitter account.
Maradona took over Al Wasl in 2011.
