Former Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay has revealed that he would "love the chance" to manage in the Premier League again.
The 42-year-old guided the Bluebirds to the top flight two years ago, but he was sacked just four months into the 2013-14 campaign.
Mackay now hopes to be be handed the opportunity to take charge of another team in the Premier League soon.
"I had a couple of opportunities in the summer that I didn't feel like I was ready for. At the moment I'm just waiting. I would love the chance to manage in the Premier League," he told Sky Sports News.
Mackay's 18-year playing career included a five-season spell with Celtic.
