League Two round-up

Plymouth Argyle stun Northampton with a 4-1 win at Home Park.

Bottom-place Plymouth shocked Northampton 4-1 at Home Park to give their League Two survival hosts a boost.

Argyle were 4-0 to the good at the break thanks to goals from Simon Walton, Nick Chadwick, Will Atkinson and Ashley Hemmings. Adebayo Akinfenwa scored a late consolation for the visitors.

League leaders Southend could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to Bristol Rovers, while Crawley Town closed moved level on points at the top of the table with a 2-1 win at Rotherham.

Cheltenham picked up a 3-1 win away at Oxford United, with playoff hopefuls Shrewsbury, Burton Albion and Swindon all picking up wins.

At the foot of the table, Dagenham & Redbridge were soundly beaten 3-0 by Accrington Stanley, while Bradford settled for a goalless draw at Gillingham.
