League Two round-up

Swindon Town have moved five points clear at the top of the League Two table following a 1-0 win at Morecambe.

Lee Holmes's second-half strike gave Paolo Di Canio's side their 16th win in 18 games.

Torquay United managed to keep up the pressure at the top following a 1-0 victory at home to Accrington Stanley.

Shrewsbury's 3-1 win at Macclesfield has put Graham Turner's men into the final automatic spot at the expense of Crawley Town, who are now fourth following their 1-1 draw at home to Crewe Alexandra.

Gillingham missed the chance to enter the playoff places, despite Dennis Oli's last-minute equaliser in their 2-2 draw at Bristol Rovers, while Oxford still cling on to a spot, despite a 2-1 defeat at Northampton.

Meanwhile, Cheltenham's 2-0 win at home to Barnet has cemented their place in the top seven.

At the bottom of the table, Hereford picked up an important point in their 1-1 draw at home to Plymouth, but 20th-placed Dagenham & Redbridge are not yet safe following a 1-1 draw at home to Burton Albion.

However, Bradford moved six points away from the drop zone with a 2-0 triumph against Southend at Valley Parade.

Elsewhere, Rotherham claimed a 2-1 win away at Wimbledon, while Port Vale recorded the same result at Aldershot.
