Three Guatemala internationals have been suspended for life by FIFA following a match-fixing trial.
Gustavo Cabrera, Yoni Flores and Guillermo Ramirez were all found guilty of fixing three encounters, two of which were international fixtures, for financial gain.
The matches were Guatemala's recent friendly defeats by Costa Rica and Venezuela, as well as a 6-1 win for Mexico's Santos Laguna over Guatemala's Municipal in the CONCACAF Champions League back in October 2010.
Although it has not been confirmed, the trio are not expected to lodge an appeal against the verdict.
