Bob Bradley appointed Egypt coach

The Egyptian Football Association have confirmed that Bob Bradley has accepted their offer to become coach of the national side.

The 53-year-old, who was fired as United States of America manager in July, will replace the long-serving Hassan Shehata.

Bradley is expected to travel to Cairo next week to sign a contract with the Pharaohs.

He had been linked with the Aston Villa job last season before owner Randy Lerner decided to appoint Gerard Houllier.
