Sepp Blatter saddened by Piermario Morosini's death

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has expressed his sadness following the death of Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini yesterday afternoon.

The 25-year-old suffered a suspected cardiac arrest during Livorno's Serie B encounter with Pescara.

"There are no words to express what I felt when I learned about Morosini's death. I only have tears," Blatter told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

All league games in Italy this weekend have been postponed as a mark of respect to Morosini and his family.
