Mathieu Debuchy: 'My agents are in control of transfer talks'

Newcastle United's Mathieu Debuchy says that he is leaving everything transfer related to his agents to deal with.

Mathieu Debuchy has insisted that he is not concerning himself with transfer speculation during next month's World Cup with France.

The 28-year-old has been linked to Paris Saint-Germain and Roma, but the defender has claimed that he has left all transfer talks in the hands of his agents.

When asked about a possible Newcastle exit, Debuchy told reporters: "No, honestly, I did not hear about any talks over a possible transfers to table.

"For my part, I do not feel affected by it. I leave it to my agents to manage that and I remain focused on the World Cup."

Debuchy moved to St James' Park from Lille last year.
