Newcastle United sign Australian youngster

Newcastle United have completed the signing of defender Curtis Good from Melbourne Hearts.

The 19-year-old had been on trial with the Magpies for the past few days.

Having impressed the club's coaching staff, the Australian youth international has penned a six-year deal at the Sports Direct Arena.

Good will link up with his new teammates when they return from their pre-season training base in Portugal later this week.
