Liverpool will start a new era under Andoni Iraola in the Premier League on Sunday, when the travel to St James' Park to take on Newcastle United.

The Reds finished fifth with just 60 points last term, surrendering their title with a whimper, and most supporters are not particularly optimistic heading into the new campaign.

While Liverpool fans are worried, so are fans of Newcastle given the club have lost a number of key stars this summer and are currently led by Matthias Jaissle following the exit of Eddie Howe last month.

Here, Sports Mole provides all the details you need to know about how to watch Liverpool take on Newcastle on Sunday.

What is at stake for Newcastle United and Liverpool?

Liverpool's squad is far from complete, with sizeable gaps in attack, in midfield and in defence, and the chances of those positions being filled before the transfer window closes on September 1 are slim.

Iraola's task will therefore be to prove that he can make the most of the players that he has at his disposal, and starting with a victory against Newcastle would certainly make him a popular figure back on Merseyside.

Newcastle fans must prepare themselves for a season of transition after losing Howe, Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes in one window.

The match itself will also be a sombre occasion, as both clubs will no doubt want to celebrate the legacy of former player Kevin Keegan, who sadly passed away in July.
