Aleksandar Kolarov involved in altercation with fans?

Full-back Aleksandar Kolarov was reportedly the Manchester City player involved in an altercation with supporters at St James' Park this afternoon.

Shortly after the final whistle had been blown on City's 3-1 win over Newcastle United, reports had claimed that police had launched an investigation into an incident between an unnamed City player and a section of fans.

Several reports on Twitter have since suggested that Serbian defender Kolarov is the man at the centre of the allegation.

It has been claimed that the falling-out was over an Albanian flag.
