Europa League roundup: Napoli come from behind to win

Napoli were forced to come from behind against Dnipro this evening, eventually running out 4-2 winners.

The Italians took an early lead through Edinson Cavani but goals from Artem Fedetskiy and Roman Zozulya either side of half-time gave the Ukrainians the lead.

Cavani scored again in the 77th minute to draw Napoli level before completing his hattrick and adding a fourth in the 88th and 92nd minutes respectively to give his side all three points.

Liverpool fell to a 1-0 away defeat at the hands of Anzhi Makhachkala courtesy of a Lacina Traore strike, while England's other representative - Newcastle United - were forced to come from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Club Brugge.

There were a couple of shocks in the competition too. Udinese fell to a 3-2 home defeat against Young Boys, while Academica recorded a famous 2-0 victory over Atletico Madrid.

PSV also experienced defeat courtesy of AIK Stockholm while Marseille could only draw with Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Plzen recorded the biggest win of the 6pm kickoffs, thrashing 10-man Hapoel Tel Aviv 4-0.
