Haidara targets Italy move

Much-coveted Nancy defender Massadio Haidara has revealed that he would be interested in joining Fiorentina in the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the best young prospects in France and had been expected to join Paris Saint-Germain in the New Year.

However, he told Tuttomercatoweb.com: "Fiorentina are a great club and I'd like to play there. I've heard good things about Vincenzo Montella and I like how his team plays. I would be very happy to play in Serie A.

"PSG are also a great team, but I would really like to play my football in Italy. My favourite team is AC Milan and I dream of one day playing at the San Siro."

Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa have also been linked with the youngster.
