"Sam Campbell has left the club following the expiry of his contract," read a statement from the club.

"Having suffered a significant knee injury last year, the 19-year-old signed a short term deal in the summer that would last until January.

"The centre-back joined Annan Athletic on loan at the start of the season, where he made 11 appearances.

"We wish Sam the best for the future."
