Montreal Impact sack head coach Klopas

MLS side Montreal Impact have sacked head coach Frank Klopas after a poor run of results.

Montreal have won eight of their 23 games this season but have lost their last four league games, including Saturday's defeat to Toronto in the MLS Canadian derby.

Klopas, a former United States international, was given the role in December 2013 after stepping down as Chicago Fire manager.

Former Canada international forward Mauro Biello has been named Montreal interim manager.
