Jimmy Bullard signs for MK Dons

Former Fulham, Wigan Athletic and Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard has joined League One side MK Dons on a short-term deal until the end of the year.

Bullard is manager Karl Robinson's fifth signing of the summer and the former £5m signing has until December 31 to earn himself a longer deal at the club.

He will be available for selection at the weekend after being confirmed as a Dons player late this afternoon.

Bullard was not registered in time for tonight's League Cup clash at home to Blackburn Rovers, but he is expected to be presented to the crowd at some point during the game.
