Greg Halford gives Nottingham Forest a 1-0 lead over Millwall at half time at The Den this afternoon.

Greg Halford has given Nottingham Forest a 1-0 lead over Millwall at half time in the Championship this afternoon.

After a scrappy opening spell by both sides, the visitors were awarded a corner which Andy Reid delivered for Halford to head in.

Radoslaw Majewski almost doubled Forest's lead three minutes later, but David Forde was able to stop the shot.

Millwall won a free kick in a dangerous area as they looked for an equaliser, but Karl Darlow was able to take James Henry's delivery, sending Reid down the other end for another chance for the visitors.

Henry had several more efforts at the Nottingham goal, but was unable to get the home side back on level terms before the half-time whistle.
