Report: Middlesbrough swoop for Ajax winger Viktor Fischer

Ajax have reportedly accepted an offer from Middlesbrough for Viktor Fischer.

It is believed that the Premier League club will fork out around £3.8m to secure the 21-year-old's services.

According to De Telegraaf, Fischer is now on his way to Teeside for a medical and discussions over personal terms.

The Denmark international broke into the Ajax side as a teenager in 2012-13, but his development has stalled since then because of injuries.

In total, Fischer has made 111 appearances for the Eredivisie outfit, which yielded a return of 33 goals.
