Report: Premier League clubs want Michy Batshuayi

Marseille forward Michy Batshuayi was reportedly the subject of interest from a host of Premier League clubs in the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old, who scored on his Belgium debut in March, has netted 11 league goals for Marseille since joining the French outfit from Standard Liege in the summer of 2014.

A number of European clubs have been linked with a move, but according to L'Equipe, the strongest interest arrived from the Premier League, with a host of teams failing with bids in the most recent transfer window.

Batshuayi spent one season in the Anderlecht youth academy in 2006, before moving onto Brussels and then Standard Liege in 2014.
