Marseille appoint Elie Baup as new manager

Marseille haven't wasted much time in replacing Didier Deschamps by appointing Elie Baup as their new manager.

Baup, who has been out of management for three years, has signed a two-year deal with Marseille after Deschamps, who left by mutual agreement on Monday.

Baup, who led Bordeaux to the French title in 1999, returns to Ligue 1 management for the first time since he left Nantes.
