Spurs put first-team trio up for sale?

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly decided to put three of their first-team players up for sale.

Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele have all been linked with a transfer away from the North London outfit over the past 12 months, but it appeared that each of the trio would remain at Spurs for the start of the new Premier League season.

However, according to Sky Sports News, chairman Daniel Levy and manager Mauricio Pochettino have decided that they are willing to entertain bids during the closing days of the summer window.

Alderweireld will be available for £25m in 12 months' time, and Manchester United have allegedly been trying to tempt Spurs into a sale for a fee higher than the Belgium international's scheduled release clause.

Rose has also been previously linked with a switch to Old Trafford, with the 28-year-old showing a desire to return to the North of England at some stage of his career.

Dembele has just one year remaining on his contract, and a move to AC Milan or Inter Milan could be on the cards with the 31-year-old unable to join a team in the Chinese Super League due to the closure of their transfer window.
