Report: Angel di Maria agreed Monaco deal before Manchester United move

Manchester United's summer signing Angel di Maria reportedly agreed to join Monaco before making the move to Old Trafford.

The Argentina international has impressed for the Red Devils by scoring three goals so far this season.

However, according to Le 10 Sport, the 26-year-old agreed personal terms with Monaco before the World Cup in Brazil after Real Madrid and the French outfit decided on a fee.

Reports have claimed that the transfer failed to materialise due to a breakdown between the two clubs.
