Odion Ighalo: Manchester United move "a dream"

Watford top-scorer Odion Ighalo admits that he would move to Manchester United if offered, describing the prospect as "a dream".

Watford striker Odion Ighalo has revealed that he would accept an offer to join Manchester United were it to come, describing the move as "a dream".

The 26-year-old has been instrumental in his side's stealthy ascent up the Premier League table, netting 14 times so far, just one goal shy of top scorers Jamie Vardy and Romelu Lukaku.

Ighalo recently insisted that he would not be leaving Vicarage Road during the winter transfer window but in an interview with The Sun, he admitted that he would be tempted by a switch to Old Trafford.

"There has been speculation from Spain and Italy but I've played there and now want to play in England," he said. "I don't think I will be moving but I'm not sure I'd say no if United called.

"They were my team growing up. I loved watching Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke on TV. They were my idols and playing at Old Trafford has always been a dream."

Ighalo finished 2015 as the top scorer for the calendar year in English football, with 30 goals to Harry Kane's 27.
