Manchester United, Manchester City, Queens Park Rangers compete for Kurt Zouma

Queens Park Rangers have reportedly failed with a €10m (£7.9m) bid for St Etienne youngster Kurt Zouma.

Manchester United and Manchester City have also shown an interest in the 17-year-old's signature, according to L'Equipe.

Sir Alex Ferguson was present last week to watch Les Verts' 2-1 defeat to Lille.

The Scot is also believed to have sent his brother to watch today's game in Toulouse.

Zouma, who is a France Under-19 international, made his breakthrough into the first team last season.
