Manchester United reportedly hold preliminary talks with Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes over a possible £27m move to Old Trafford.
Manchester United have reportedly held talks with the agent of Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes over a possible £27m deal.
The 22-year-old has been heavily tipped to move to the Premier League this summer, with Everton and Arsenal also monitoring his situation closely.
United are understood to have identified Gabriel as a possible long-term partner for Harry Maguire, and RMC Sport reports that they have now made preliminary contact with the Brazilian's agents.
Lille are reportedly demanding a £27m fee for the centre-back, who has made 34 appearances across all competitions this season.
United are not thought to have lodged a formal bid for Gabriel, but have now held talks ahead of a possible summer approach.
In addition to Everton and Arsenal, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly interested in signing Gabriel from Lille after they missed out on Champions League football.
