Manchester United track Thiago Alcantara

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

The 21-year-old, who is a product of the Catalan giants' famous La Masia academy, featured 37 times the club's first team last season.

Red Devils scouts watched the player on numerous occasions and were very impressed, according to the Daily Mail.

AC Milan director general Ariedo Braida has already admitted that his side are tracking Alcantara's progress.

Alcantara has been capped three times at senior international level by Spain.
