Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly decided that he wants a move to Chelsea this summer.
The Blues have supposedly completed background checks on the 21-year-old ahead of a potential swoop during this window.
Garnacho is currently in the wilderness at the Theatre of the Dreams, no longer part of the first-team plans of manager Ruben Amorim.
As a result, the Argentine was left out of the Red Devils' pre-season squad for their trip to the United States, staying alone in the UK.
Since graduating from the club's academy in 2022, Garnacho has featured in 144 competitive matches for Man United, scoring 26 times.
Man United outcast Garnacho wants Chelsea move?
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Man United wantaway Garnacho has his heart set on a particular move this summer.
The report claims that the 21-year-old has made a switch to Stamford Bridge and Chelsea his 'priority' for the remainder of the window.
It is understood that there have been bids from European clubs for Garnacho, who is said to be holding out for a move to West London.
Enzo Maresca's men are supposedly considering a bid for the attacker later this month, when they could bag the forward for a cut-price fee.
Garnacho wanted to switch to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window, when his influence was waning at Old Trafford.
Garnacho part of the bomb squad
Frozen out of Amorim's first-team plans, Garnacho is training alone back in Manchester as he searches for a new employer.
Marcus Rashford was in a similar situation last month before he bagged a dream move to European powerhouses Barcelona.
As recently-crowned Club World Cup champions, Chelsea would be a prestigious destination for out-of-favour Garnacho this summer.
