Gareth Bale open to Manchester United move after failing to settle at Real Madrid?

Gareth Bale is reportedly open to signing for Manchester United as he continues struggling to adapt to life at Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale is reportedly considering a move to Manchester United as he continues to struggle to settle into life at Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old became the most expensive footballer in the world when he signed for the Spanish giants from Tottenham Hotspur for an £85m fee in 2013.

United have been consistently linked with the Wales international, who rejected speculation of a Madrid exit during the summer transfer window.

However, according to ESPN, Bale's camp are playing down the rumours in order to make it seem as though the attacker is not searching for a way out, but he is open to moving to Old Trafford as he has not fully adapted to life in Spain.

The report adds that United have calmed their interest in their former player Cristiano Ronaldo as they switch to their pursuit of Bale.
