Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak is reportedly 'very interested' in joining Liverpool during this summer's transfer window.
The 25-year-old has been in outstanding form for the Magpies during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring 19 goals and registering five assists in 28 appearances in all competitions, including 17 goals and five assists in the Premier League.
Isak has a contract with Newcastle until June 2028, but there is currently a host of speculation surrounding his future, with Barcelona and Arsenal said to be among the clubs keen on bringing him in during the summer market.
There have also been suggestions of interest from Liverpool, as the Reds are likely to move Darwin Nunez on at the end of the campaign, and the Uruguay international could potentially fetch a large fee from Saudi Arabia.
According to TEAMtalk, Isak is 'very interested' in discussing a switch to Liverpool, with the Sweden international desperate to join a club which plays consistent Champions League football and challenges for major trophies.

Isak 'very interested' in summer move to Liverpool
Arsenal were allegedly recently informed that Newcastle would not listen to offers of under £125m for Isak this summer.
Since arriving at St James' Park from Real Sociedad, the forward has 54 goals and nine assists in 95 appearances for Newcastle, developing into one of the best strikers in world football during his time with the Magpies.
At this stage, it is unclear whether Liverpool are planning to make a move for Isak this summer, but the Swede is thought to favour a move to Anfield over Arsenal, so the Gunners may be forced to look elsewhere.
Manchester United are also said to be admirers of Isak, but it is incredibly difficult to imagine the Red Devils competing for him during this summer's transfer window unless they are able to secure Champions League football for next season.

Who is Liverpool's record signing?
Liverpool would have to break their transfer record in order to sign Isak this summer, and the deal would exceed the £85m that they paid Benfica for Nunez during the 2022 summer transfer window.
Ironically, Isak would likely be brought in as a direct replacement for Nunez, with the striker expected to leave at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has again been a regular for the Reds this term, making 33 appearances in all competitions, but he has only scored six times, including four in the Premier League.
There is believed to have been Saudi Arabian interest in Nunez during the January transfer window, but the Reds decided to keep hold of him for the rest of the season due to their volume of matches.
