Arsenal to battle with Manchester United for Lucas Moura?

Arsenal are reportedly ready to battle with Manchester United for the signature of Paris Saint-Germain winger Luca Moura.

According to ESPN, the Gunners have identified the 25-year-old as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is understood to be close to a move to Old Trafford.

Moura - who has previously admitted that he is keen on a move to the Premier League - could get his wish, with Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho both interested in his services.

"Is there a chance that I stay this winter? I do not think so," the Brazilian said. "With what the coach has said, it looks like this is the end of my Paris story.

"I have offers but I cannot talk about them. I like English football very much, it is truly one of the best leagues in the world."

Moura has suffered from a lack of game time at the Parc des Princes this term, making only five substitute appearances in Ligue 1.
