Wednesday's Premier League predictions including Manchester United vs. Tottenham

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Manchester United vs. Tottenham.

Bournemouth vs. Southampton (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Bournemouth will aim to stretch their unbeaten run in the Premier League to an impressive seven matches when they welcome Southampton to the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Cherries played out a 2-2 draw with fellow newly-promoted side Fulham at the weekend, while the Saints were pegged back in a 1-1 stalemate with West Ham United.

We say: Bournemouth 1-0 Southampton

Defensive failures have plagued Southampton on the road for several months now, and such frailties could only be exposed more without the bright Bella-Kotchap marshalling the backline.

Bournemouth's extra rest day will also work in their favour, and we can envisage O'Neil's side keeping their unbeaten run going with a one-goal success versus the out-of-form Saints.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Brentford vs. Chelsea (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Seeking to continue a perfect October with a sixth win on the bounce in all competitions, Chelsea travel to face Brentford in Wednesday's West London derby in the Premier League.

The Bees ran out 2-0 winners versus Brighton & Hove Albion last Friday, while Graham Potter's men won by the same scoreline away to Aston Villa.

We say: Brentford 1-2 Chelsea

A more clinical side would have no doubt made the net ripple against Chelsea at the weekend, and while Potter can tinker with his XI to stop such frailties being exposed, an in-form Toney will need no invitation to pounce.

This has all the makings of a difficult encounter for the Blues, especially with the added incentive of a West London derby and fewer rest days, but even if their run of clean sheets comes to an end, their winning streak should not.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Newcastle vs. Everton (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Two Premier League teams seeking to return to winning ways will face off at St James' Park on Wednesday night when Newcastle United play host to Everton.

The Magpies currently sit sixth in the table, while the Toffees are eight places and five points further back in 14th.

We say: Newcastle United 2-0 Everton

Newcastle will head into Wednesday's fixture as favourites considering their recent form, position in the table and record on home soil, while Everton's poor away form also bodes well for the hosts.

The Toffees have scored in 20 of their last 21 encounters with Newcastle, but they may struggle to breach a resilient Magpies backline on this occasion, with Howe's side also possessing enough quality to come away with all three points despite the absence of Isak and Saint-Maximin.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Liverpool vs. West Ham (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Liverpool will be aiming to build on their huge victory against Manchester City when they host West Ham United in the Premier League on Wednesday.

The visitors, meanwhile, were held 1-1 by Southampton on Sunday.

We say: Liverpool 2-1 West Ham United

We expect West Ham to give the hosts a difficult game on Wednesday, especially after the exertion Jurgen Klopp's side put in to beat Man City at the weekend.

However, Liverpool look to have turned a corner in recent matches and, with the Anfield crowd roaring them on, they should get over the line in the end.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Man Utd vs. Spurs (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Third meets fifth in Wednesday's tantalising Premier League battle at Old Trafford, as Manchester United seek to return to winning ways against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Red Devils were forced to accept a point in a 0-0 draw with Newcastle United last time out, while Antonio Conte's men ran out 2-0 winners over Everton.

We say: Manchester United 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

The introduction of Bissouma proved pivotal in Tottenham getting over the line against Everton, but the Lilywhites have flattered to deceive on the road so far this season, whereas Man United are a tough nut to crack at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils will also take confidence from their recent spate of goal-laden wins against the Lilywhites, but it is difficult to back Ten Hag's side to prevail against Conte's resilient crop, and we think a low-scoring draw is the most likely result in this Big Six battle.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
