Robin van Persie: 'Adnan Januzaj one of the best I've seen'

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has hailed Adnan Januzaj as one of the finest young players he has ever seen.

The 18-year-old burst on the scene this season with his displays for David Moyes's side, and the Dutch forward has claimed that the teenager is one of the most exciting talents around.

"Over the years I've seen so many young players, and I can honestly say that of all the young players I've seen he is right up there in the top one or two," Van Persie told the club's official website.

"He's a great player and I'm a great fan of his. I thought earlier in pre-season that he has something special.

"He will give Manchester United a great bunch of goals and great games. He's a special player."

Januzaj, who signed a new contract at Old Trafford earlier this season, recently revealed that he was looking to play a big part for United throughout the campaign.
