Phil Neville admits that he is delighted with his return to Manchester United as first-team coach.

Phil Neville has admitted that he is relishing his return to Manchester United as first-team coach.

The 36-year-old, who spent 10 years at the club as a player until 2005, was recently brought back to Old Trafford by new manager David Moyes.

"There is no question this is the dream job for me," Neville told United's official website.

"When I left eight years ago I always said I wanted to come back to United in some capacity one day. I knew it was probably never going to be as a player so being a coach was the next step.

"There was never a day that went by where I wasn't keeping an interest in what was going on at United and to come back now is the most perfect scenario for me."

The Premier League champions are currently on their pre-season tour of Asia.
