David Moyes: 'I've had offers since leaving Manchester United'

David Moyes confirms that he has had offers to return to management since his sacking from Manchester United.

David Moyes has revealed that there have been offers for his services since he was sacked by Manchester United.

Despite being invited for talks from clubs since his disastrous 10-month spell at Old Trafford came to an end, the Scot is keen to remain patient to make sure he joins a side with hopes of playing in the Champions League.

"I have had a couple of opportunities to go back in and chosen not to do anything just now," Moyes told The Guardian. "I am going to look for what I feel is the right opportunity.

"I would like to think I proved myself over the 11-year period at Everton, and what I am capable of, and the level at which I want to manage.

"I would like somewhere that would give me a chance of being in the Champions League or a club that has ambitions of being in the Champions League."

Moyes has had his say on England's World Cup campaign, insisting that Wayne Rooney will be the key man in Brazil.
