Jorge Mendes: 'Cristiano Ronaldo will stay with Real Madrid until he is 40'

The agent of Cristiano Ronaldo says that his client will remain with Real Madrid until he is 40.

Cristiano Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes has stated that the Portuguese international will remain with Real Madrid until he is 40.

Former Madrid president Ramon Calderon recently claimed that Ronaldo would end his career in England, but Mendes has quelled such suggestions.

"He'll be there until 40. I know Cristiano and it was a great joy for him to win the Ballon d'Or. It's something he'll never forget," Mendes told reporters in Spain.

"There are many injustices around Cristiano. He is a fantastic human being and a great professional. It's very difficult to be Cristiano."

It is widely thought that Ronaldo will return to former club Manchester United in the future.
