Victor Lindelof targets strong season at Manchester United

Victor Lindelof says that he feels "great" as the Sweden international looks to kick on at Manchester United this term.

Victor Lindelof has said that he feels "great" as the Sweden international looks to kick on at Manchester United during the 2018-19 campaign.

Lindelof joined United from Benfica in last summer's transfer window and made 29 appearances in all competitions during his first season at the Theatre of Dreams.

The 24-year-old was named in Jose Mourinho's starting XI for the team's Premier League opener against Leicester City last Friday, and is now targeting a strong season for the Red Devils.

"I feel great. I had a good summer: first, I got married and had an amazing time, then I played in the World Cup, which was also a great experience," Lindelof told United's official website.

"And after a good rest, I'm back here and ready for what's to come. It's always nice to get a good start, as that gives you more confidence and you can be more relaxed."

United are next in Premier League action away to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon.
