Swansea City boss Carlos Carvalhal has branded Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho "Portugal's king of football" as the two head coaches prepare to lock horns this weekend.
Swansea will look to continue their rise up the Premier League table when they travel to United on Saturday afternoon.
Carvalhal recently revealed that he spent time learning under Mourinho at Chelsea, and has paid tribute to the two-time Champions League winner for 'opening the door for the new generation of managers to go abroad'.
"He is Portugal's king of football. He is the best manager ever for Porto. He opened the doors for the new generation of managers to go abroad. He opened the ideas of the world on Portuguese coaches," Carvalhal told reporters.
"When I said that he's a fighter, I mean he is very good at mind games. The way he acts in mind games, he likes the theatre of it. He usually wins all these battles. I am completely different, I prefer to be out of the theatre."
Swansea are currently three points clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League, while United sit in second spot - 16 points off runaway leaders Manchester City.
