David de Gea is included in the Manchester United squad for Sunday's Premier League clash with Liverpool.

David de Gea could yet feature in Manchester United's Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon after being included in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.

The 28-year-old was effectively ruled out of the match earlier this week with the groin problem that he picked up while representing Spain during the recent international break.

However, De Gea arrived with the United squad at The Lowry Hotel on Saturday night, fuelling speculation that he could be involved in the key Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

The former Atletico Madrid youngster has conceded eight times in nine outings for the Red Devils this season, managing just two clean sheets during a tough start to the season.

De Gea's involvement is far from certain, though, with both Sergio Romero and Lee Grant also included in the goalkeeping department.

Anthony Martial and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have also been included in the squad as Solskjaer's strugglers look to halt a Liverpool side that are currently on a 17-match winning run in the Premier League.
