How Manchester United could line up against Watford

Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up for Saturday's Premier League meeting with Watford at Old Trafford.

Manchester United will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on Watford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils lost to Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the league and FA Cup respectively ahead of the international break.

Not since September 2016 have they lost three successive matches in all competitions, going down to 3-1 to this weekend's opponents Watford during that run.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer taking charge of his first match since being appointed United boss on a permanent basis, Sports Mole looks at how the Norwegian could set out his side.

The two-week break came at a good time for United, but they still have a number of fitness doubts ahead of Saturday's match at Old Trafford.

Lukaku is expected to be out of action until next week, while Rashford is still not over an ankle problem that forced him to withdraw from England's squad. However, Solskjaer may be forced to take a gamble on the striker's fitness.

There is some better news elsewhere as long-serving full-back Antonio Valencia made his return to action with Ecuador and Darmian is also expected to be available, providing some much-needed cover at the back.

Solskjaer will be hoping to have Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard available for selection as both players made their returns against Wolves two weeks ago, leaving Sanchez as their only confirmed absentee for the final run-in.
