Report: Micah Richards wants Premier League return

Manchester City defender Micah Richards is reportedly desperate to return to the Premier League this summer.

The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Fiorentina, whom he joined at the start of the season after struggling for football in the previous campaign.

Richards's current City deal expires this summer, but it is understood that the Englishman will not remain in Italy.

According to The Express, Richards is prepared to accept a significant drop in wages if it results in a move to a Premier League club.

Richards, who has once regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the English game, has been with City since 2001.
