Report: Joe Hart wants loan move to Torino following Manchester City exile

Report: Joe Hart wants Torino move

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has reportedly told the club that he wants to join Torino on a season-long loan.

The England number one has lost his position as first choice at the Etihad Stadium, with new manager Pep Guardiola preferring Wilfredo Caballero in four out of five games this season.

Claudio Bravo is expected to take Hart's role on a more permanent basis after he signed from Barcelona last week.

Sunderland were recently linked with a move for the 29-year-old, but the player is keen to play abroad rather than move to the Stadium of Light, according to The Mirror.

Torino and City have reportedly been in negotiations regarding an agreement about which club will cover the majority of Hart's £120,000-a-week wages, with the Italian side pushing for the two-time Premier League champions to pay up.

It is believed that talks are reaching a positive conclusion, and Hart could have a medical in Italy tomorrow.
