Phil Foden will reject loan interest from the Bundesliga to stay with Manchester City this summer, according to a report.

Phil Foden will reportedly reject loan interest from the Bundesliga to stay with Manchester City this summer.

Foden, 18, has made 23 first-team appearances for City during the 2018-19 campaign.

Newcastle United, Southampton and Bournemouth all reportedly attempted to sign him on loan during the January transfer window, but City rejected the interest.

Citizens boss Pep Guardiola is said to be determined to keep hold of the teenager next season, and according to the Daily Mail, Foden will reject interest from the likes of RB Leipzig to stay at the Etihad Stadium.

Foden, who has made 10 Premier League appearances this season, has a contract with City until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
