Incoming Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola chasing Premier League trio?

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is one of three Premier League stars wanted by Manchester City this summer, a report claims.

Pep Guardiola will kickstart his Manchester City tenure by spending big to bolster his squad, with three Premier League stars reportedly on his radar.

According to The Sun, the new Citizens boss - who will officially take over from Manuel Pellegrini in June - has added Alexis Sanchez, John Stones and Danny Rose to his list of key targets.

The same report claims that Guardiola has put City chiefs under pressure to land one of his rivals' players, although there is expected to be resistance from Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

Fernando, Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri are among those tipped to head in the opposite direction prior to the Spaniard's first season at the helm, with work already underway to reshape the side following a disappointing final year under Pellegrini.

Schalke 04's Leroy Sane, currently rated at around £40m, is another player to have been linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium.
