New City deal for Raheem Sterling?

Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling is reportedly set to be offered a new contract at the Etihad that would keep him at the heart of manager Pep Guardiola's plans.

The England winger has been a key figure in City's rampant form this season and according to the Daily Star, Sterling is expected to be given a new deal.

The 22-year-old, who has five goals from five appearances this season, netted twice in City's 5-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace last Saturday and has impressed alongside deadly attacking duo Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus.

City also reportedly want to extend the contracts of playmakers Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva.

Sterling is set to be included as Guardiola's side face Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday, before meeting Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday.
