Manchester City confirm signing of Stevan Jovetic from Fiorentina

Manchester City have finalised the capture of striker Stevan Jovetic from Fiorentina.

The Italian club confirmed yesterday that they had reached an agreement with the former Premier League champions to sell the forward for a fee believed to be in the region of £24m.

The 23-year-old, who will wear the number 35 shirt at City, has become the club's fourth signing of the summer so far following the acquisitions of Fernandinho, Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo.

Jovetic will join up with his new teammates on their pre-season tour over the weekend.
