Juventus 'still interested in signing Man City's Gabriel Jesus'

Juventus could reignite their interest in Manchester City attacker Gabriel Jesus next year, according to a report.

Juventus are reportedly still interested in Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus and could make a move for the Brazilian attacker during next summer's transfer window.

The 24-year-old was linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium earlier this summer, but the transfer window closed with the versatile forward still with Pep Guardiola's side.

Harry Kane's arrival at Man City would have pushed Jesus down the pecking order at the club, but the Citizens were unable to complete a deal for the Tottenham Hotspur forward.

Jesus's long-term future in Manchester is unclear, though, with the English champions expected to sign a high-profile forward in 2022.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus, who allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the club late in the transfer window, are still interested in the South American.

The report claims that the Old Lady are 'ready to launch an assault' at some stage next year, although it is unlikely that they would be able to convince Man City to sell in January.

Jesus - contracted to Guardiola's side until June 2023 - has scored once and provided three assists in four appearances for the Citizens this term.
