Gabriel Jesus 'tops Juventus shortlist of Cristiano Ronaldo replacements'

Jesus 'tops Juventus shortlist of Ronaldo replacements'

Juventus have reportedly identified Gabriel Jesus as their leading target to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, should the Portuguese move on during this summer's transfer window.

Ronaldo's future in Turin remains the subject of much speculation, with the experienced attacker thought to be considering the possibility of leaving 12 months before the end of his contract.

Juventus continue to be linked with a move for Jesus, and according to Tuttosport, the Manchester City forward tops the Italian club's shortlist of potential Ronaldo replacements.

The report claims that the Brazil international is no longer considered to be 'untouchable' at the Etihad Stadium, with the Premier League champions looking to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane.

Juventus are said to be in regular contact with intermediaries over a possible deal for Jesus, who is valued by Man City in the region of £51m.

The 24-year-old, who represented his country at this summer's Copa America, has scored 82 times and registered 34 assists in 195 appearances for Guardiola's side in all competitions.
